国际学院成立于2003年5月，承担大连大学与澳大利亚南十字星大学(Southern Cross University)合作办学会计学和旅游管理两个专业本科教育项目，采取“3+1”办学模式。大连大学与澳大利亚南十字星大学合作办学会计学项目和旅游管理项目始终以习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想为指导，落实立德树人根本任务，坚持党建“三同步”的要求，践行“三全育人”，始终牢记党的办学方针，坚持社会主义办学方向，遵循《中外合作办学条例》，立足国情，融通中澳，不断提高人才培养质量。学院合作办学秉承“融会中澳方文化，培育专精与现代人才”的理念，培养具有国际化视野、扎实的专业基础理论和良好的英语语言能力的高级会计、旅游等人才。学院以高质量的雅思通过率、出国率、申研率赢得良好的社会声誉。

 The International College of Dalian University was established in May 2003. It enrolls students in a joint degree program with Southern Cross University in Australia in two majors, Accounting and Tourism management, in “3+1”mode of the four-year undergraduate education. The College always takes Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as the guidance and implements the fundamental task of cultivating virtue and talents. Adhering to the requirements of the "three synchronizations" of Party building and the "three all-round education",  it always keeps in mind the Party's educational policy and the socialist direction of education, and follows the "Regulations on Chinese-foreign Cooperative Education". Based on national conditions, the college has integrated China and Australia to continuously improve the quality of talent training. Adhering to the principle of "integrating Chinese and Australian culture, cultivating professional and modern talents", International College aims to cultivate senior accountants and tourism professionals with international vision, solid professional theories and advanced English proficiency. The college has won a good social reputation in terms of the IELTS pass rates, overseas studies and postgraduate application.
